		Friday, August 31 End of 2001 Season	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 3rd in the Heat race and finished 4th. In the B- Feature we started 12th and finished 9th. Tires are just not sticking good anymore. We finished our first season at Golden Sands Speedway in 16th place. We had a very good year and look forward to racing a full season again there in 2002. If I figured it out correctly, this season consisted of 4 wins, 25 top 5's and 35 top 10 finishes. Results Season Final Point Standings

		Friday, August 24	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 3rd in the Heat race and finished 4th. In the C- Feature we started 2nd and finished 3rd. Tires are getting alot more laps on them and they just aren't sticking good in the corners. One more week on them as the season finale is next week. Results

		Friday, August 17	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 3rd in the Heat race and finished 6th, as we were stuck behind slower traffic for too long,again. In the B- Feature we started 12th and finished 12th. Tires are getting alot of laps on them and they aren't sticking as good in the corners, and with only two nights left I can't afford to put any on. Results

		Friday, August 10	Golden Sands Speedway -We had a miracle happen as we sold some things and scraped up enough money to buy a clutch, so we put that in Thursday. Then we got to the track and hot lapped. When we came in from hot lapping, I noticed water coming out from under the car on the pit slab. Our water pump had let us down. We put our spare on only to find that it stuck out too far and the pulleys didn't line up, so we took that one off and went to the parts trailer and they had the one we needed! We got it back together for qualifying. We started 5th in the Heat race and finished 7th, as we were stuck behind slower traffic for too long. In the C-Feature, we started 5th and won it, which tranferred us into the B-Feature. In the B- Feature we started 13th and finished 11th. Results

		Friday, August 3	Golden Sands Speedway -We survived "Crash Fest 2001", but our clutch started to slip during qualifying, so I really had to feather the gas or it would get worse. We started 4th in the Heat race and finished 6th. In the B- Feature we started 12th and finished 8th. Unless a miracle happens and we find some $$ to buy new clutch discs, our season is probably over. This has been our funnest season by far. Results

		Friday, July 27	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 5th in the Heat race and finished 4th. In the C -Feature we started 6th and finished 2nd. We qualified one car out of the B-Feature, and only the winner of the C-Feature bumps up to the B-Feature, so we were one car short again. Just not our night. Results

		Friday, July 20	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 5th in the Heat race and finished 3rd. In the B-Feature we started 8th and finished 6th. During the B-Feature, we got hit from the side and the car was stuck on top of ours until I hit the gas again, then he came off and spun. He really busted up our left rear quarter panel, interior, and rear deck lid. Results

		Friday, July 13	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 1st in the Heat race and finished 2nd. In the B-Feature we started 14th and finished 5th. Track was very slippery for qualifying for everyone as the lap times show. Maybe it was because it was Friday the 13th! Results

		Sunday, July 8	Golden Sands Speedway - Wisconsin Challenge Series-We started 12th in the 30 lap Qualifying race and finished 9th. We had a nice run going after about half way point of the race, as we caught the leading pack of six cars. After tightly following the sixth car for around 10 laps, trying him on the inside only to have him slam the "door" shut going into the corners, he must have either slowed too much going in or I anticipated that he would get on the gas sooner as he did so many laps before, and I ran into the back of him, sending him into the car that was on the outside of him, and only four laps to go. We then over heated and had to pit. Results

		Saturday, July 7	Marshfield Super Speedway - First time ever on this 1/2 mile track. Nice facility. I have to admit I was nervous of taking the corners too fast as they are very flat and long, and we ran our oldest tires. We did have a blast. We started 8th in the Heat race and finished 6th. In the A-Feature we started 17th and we finished 16th. Results

		Friday, July 6	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 3rd in the Heat race and finished 6th. In the B-Feature we started 12th and we finished 8th. Results

		Friday, June 29	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 6th in the Heat race and finished 1st. The race was shortened with four laps to go because of a terrible two car wreck on the back straight, when a car spun and came back onto the track and when the two cars tried to avoid, they came together, actually launching one car into the air. One car needs a front stub and the other is completely totalled with extensive damage to the front stub and center section of the cage. Both drivers walked away. In the B-Feature we started 8th and we finished 4th. Results

		Friday, June 22	Golden Sands Speedway - Lots of cars came to get ready for the Wisconsin Challenge Series race on July 8th. In the Heat race, we started 5th and finished 1st. In the Consi we started 5th and finished 2nd. The sway bar didn't get in the pocket on the left side, after we got the car off the jack stands, so the car didn't quite handle the way I wanted it to. 		Friday, June 15	Golden Sands Speedway - In the Heat race, we started 4th and finished 3rd. In the B-Feature we started 7th and finished 3rd. Results

		Friday, June 8	Golden Sands Speedway - In the Heat race, we started 10th and finished 3rd. In the B-Feature we started 6th and finished 5th. Results

		Sunday, June 3	Golden Sands Speedway - In the Heat race, we started 7th and finished 5th. In the B-Feature we started 3rd and finished 4th. Results

		Friday, June 1	Golden Sands Speedway - We made our 145 mile one way trip to the track only to get rained out. The Rain Date is set for Sunday, June 3rd.

		Friday, May 25	Golden Sands Speedway - Chose not to go to track because their was too great of a chance of rain. They got the show in complete, we missed out. Golden Sands Speedway was the only track open in the state Friday night. Race Details Results

		Friday, May 18	Golden Sands Speedway - We started 2nd in the Heat race and although we led nearly all of the laps, we finished 2nd. We started 2nd in the B-Feature and won it. That transferred us into the A-Feature, where we started 16th and finished 11th. This was the first win we got that was NOT at Norway! Results

		Friday, May 11	Golden Sands Speedway - Started the Heat race 3rd and finished 3rd, even after I was the "filling" of a three car wreck "Oreo cookie". Started the B-Feature 9th and was in 3rd with 7 laps to go and I touched the brakes too hard going in to turn one, when I saw a car slowing to enter the pits, and the rear end of my car came around and I spun out. 		Friday, May 4	Golden Sands Speedway - Heat race started 5th and finished 5th. B-Feature Started 7th and finished 9th. Brake problems all night. Results

		Sunday, April 29	First time racing at Golden Sands Speedway. We started the Heat race in 9th and finished 3rd. We started the B-Feature in 14th place and finished 4th. Results

		Sunday, April 22	Golden Sands Speedway was rained out after qualifying. Rain date set for Sunday April 29th.
